Raquel Capote, DMD, MSD, MPH "White Spot Lesion Development During Orthodontic Treatment with Fixed Appliances: An evidence-based review of prevention and management”. Dr. Capote is currently the Clinical Assistant Professor, Orthodontics at University of Washington. She is also enrolled in the UW School of Public Health as a candidate for the MPH degree in epidemiology. Thus, as Dr. Capote participates in intramural practice, teaching, and professional service, her research and research-related activities work symbiotically to cultivate knowledge and skills needed to conduct high quality clinical investigation in the field of orthodontics. Her long-term research goals lie in using a multidisciplinary, patient-centered, dental practice-based research approach to answer treatment decision-making questions of greatest concern to patients and providers and broadening access to oral healthcare for low-income and minority populations.

CE Start Time: 7PM

Meeting Details: We will discuss the 2018 remaining calendar of meetings and events, elections of new component board members, new business and old business.

Meeting Start Time: Social 6:00 PM and Meeting 6:30 PM
